DJ Hurrikane is a local DJ based in North East, Ohio. who is originaly from Atlantic City, New Jersey. DJ Hurrikane humble beginnings started in 1998 when he won a local DJ contest with the prize being a DJ residency at a night club in sandusky, Ohio. DJ Hurrikane quickly became a favorite DJ amoung local party goers as his blend of Top 40 & Hip-Hop kept the dance floor packed. In 2001 DJ Hurrikane took his DJ talents to Port Clinton, Ohio where he added Top 40 dance remixes and house music to his sets. Over the next 13 years DJ Hurrikanes' popularity soared as he performed at many of the areas top night clubs and bars.

In 2014 DJ Hurrikane was hired by Cedar Fair to be the resident DJ for Cedar Points' night time spectacular LUMINOSITY dance show! While DJing at Luminosity DJ Hurrikane added progressive house music and electronic dance music to his sets with great success. Today DJ Hurrikane keeps dance floors rocking with a unique blend of Top 40, EDM, Hip-Hop and House music in his sets.

Today you can find DJ Hurrikane rocking local dancefloors in NE Ohio and in the summer you can catch him on the Cedar Point Beach performing nothing but the very best dance music!

Hurrikane Annihilates The Boring!

DJ Hurrikane was our featured DJ at a P. Marie Talent Management fashion show featuring teen and young adult models. He did not disappoint.
I first met Hurrikane during his popular Luminosity show at Cedar Point. As exhausted as I honestly THOUGHT I was at the end of that hot summer night, I ended up staying until the very end of his show. It was impossible not to dance.

Hurrikane has an incredible knack for song choice and great instincts for how to keep the party going. After our initial meeting that night, I found my correspondence with him to easy and breezy. He is super down to earth, approachable, and just refreshingly professional. I knew I wanted to book him for an event.

Though his booking rate was higher than our budget initially allowed, we took a risk and booked DJ Hurrikane for a company fashion show based on the fact that he puts on a great show and we believed he would be both dependable and easy to work with.

It was a joy working with DJ Hurrikane during the weeks leading up to the show. He was patient and I could tell he really cared that we had the right song for every moment. I could also tell that he wanted to get it right for us, that he really cares about his work... As an added bonus, it's just flat out fun to watch Hurrikane when he gets going and is in his zone. You can see the pulse of inspiration on his face and the dance of total dazzle in his eyes. The guy loves what he does. And I loved working with my new friend.

Great Energy!

I booked DJ Hurrikane for a private party at a place that I rented and all I can say is that he provided me and my 200+ guest with a night full of fun as we danced the night away. What was most impressive about DJ Hurrikane was the energy level that he brought to the party!! If you want a high energy non-stop dance dance party.....DJ Hurrikane delivers the goods!!!
